Get involved and Inspire Change.
SMA joining hands with Clean Up Australia in association with McDonalds, McGrath, IGA, Exposure Real Estate and Springfield Lakes Nature Care on Sunday, March 4 from 7:30 am to clean the Regatta & Discovery Lakes and Spring Lake Parklands.
We believe that together we can transform the the nature to a clean and healthy one. When hundreds of us join together to give in a small way, it adds up to creating and inspiring great change in a big way.
SMA is joining hands with Queensland Government and making another historical initiative to assist a research project to support the migrants and refugees coming to Queensland in terms of their professional life. Multicultural Affairs Queensland has engaged Deloitte Access Economics to carry out a research project into the social and economic cost of migrants and refugees coming to Queensland with overseas-obtained qualifications but being unable to find skilled work.
Who we are looking to speak to:
We are looking for input from Queenslanders who migrated to Australia with a qualification from an overseas university or post-high school educational institution. We will be asking them to share their experiences seeking recognition for their overseas skills (such as barriers, delays, or reasons for not applying) and how these experiences have impacted on their life in Australia (such as impacts of skills not being recognised on settlement experiences, and sense of belonging or engagement with the Australian community).
Research Project Details:
Date of Project : 20 February 2018
Time : 10:00 am
Duration : 90 minutes

So if you are interested to be a part of this research project, please contact Mr. Bobby Augustine on 0432 165 645. Only limited seats available.
